Kennel Opening
Every breeder needs to have a registered kennel to make the Pedigrees of a litter, registering a kennel is necessary to assign a name to the puppy, this name indicates which breeder the dog descends from ; the name can be added as an affix or a suffix.
The name of the kennel serves to identify the origin of the specimen, it is the breeder's mark, and therefore at IBC the dog's name cannot be changed, it follows the dog's entire life, as well as all of its descendants.
Regulation
1 – The name of the puppy is always linked to the name of the kennel to which the mother belongs, that is, necessarily the owner of the kennel must be the owner of the mother, when the puppy is born.
2 – The granting of the name of the kennel is an internal control, with no integration with other entities, which is why the name chosen in another institution may not be available at IBC.
3 – The opening of a kennel may be carried out by a legal or natural person, individually or jointly, with the presentation of an identification document of the partners being a requirement.
3.1 – By informing more than one person in charge of the kennel, he declares that both have the same autonomy, being able to be represented before the IBC in order to provide information, authorize services, register dogs, without the need to request authorization from the other.
4 – Confirmation of payment must occur within 7 calendar days of the application. Once this period has passed without confirmation of payment, the chosen name will again be available for other requests.
5 – The preparation and posting of the document will only be initiated upon receipt of the proof of payment corresponding to the application. The deadline for delivering the document will be in accordance with the contracted transport company (Post Office, private carrier, local pick-up, etc.), which will be the customer's free choice, and therefore not the responsibility of IBC.
6 – If any document is sent incorrectly or incompletely, the deadline is extended to 10 working days after sending the missing documentation.
7 – IBC reserves the right to deny Kennel registrations that may induce extreme similarity with others previously registered, as well as those that are not consistent with the principles of morals and good customs.
8 – Once approved and granted, the name of the kennel cannot be modified.
9 – A breeder (individual or legal entity) may have more than one kennel opened at IBC.
10 – In the event of the death of the owner of the kennel, a judicial decision of an inventory action for transfer must be presented.
11 – When opening the kennel with IBC, in addition to the opening fee, the owner(s) is(are) aware of the annual maintenance charge in the amount of BRL 60.00, which must be paid until December 31 of each year. Default will result in the collection of a fine of 20% + interest of 1% per month, and in case of default for two consecutive years, suspension of maintenance, making the kennel name available for new requests, without prejudice to the collection of the previously existing debt .
12 – The address filled in the form must be the addressee for all documents from the required services.
13 – The information provided in the form is the sole responsibility of the applicant.
